Dear Literacy Champion,

The East Bay Community Foundation has a special Twitter Photo contest- and if we win 16 children will have the cost of a Super Stars Literacy teacher covered for two months! That’s 176 hours of reading support and social emotional skill building!

How can you help? It’s Easy!

WHAT: Super Stars Literacy will win $5000 if we post the most photos on Twitter using #EastBayGives and #SuperStarsLiteracy.

HOW: Take a photo with this template, post on your twitter account with a message about literacy, and use the hashtags: #SuperStarsLiteracy and #EastBayGives. Encourage friends, family, office mates, religious groups, civic associations, and people you meet on BART to do the same!

Don’t have a Twitter Account? Don’t Worry!

If you do not have a twitter account, you can send the photos to Daniel Lawlor, our Development Manager, (daniel@superstarsliteracy.org) and we will post through the Super Stars Literacy account.

WHEN: This is a time limited contest- the last photos must be posted by midnight on April 28th (next Friday).

WHY: In last year’s photo contest, SSL posted 600 photos and came in third place. The winning group had just over 1000. We can do this, and bring more resources to our kids!

This is a fun, time-limited way to take photos with your family, friends, colleagues and support #SuperStarsLiteracy on Twitter – let’s have fun and help our kids!

Say Cheese,

Super Stars Literacy
